There is nothing quite like receiving an envelope hand-addressed to you. You’re curious to know the message and it doesn’t get thrown out with your junk mail.
We write letters to amplify our voices in many ways, including:
- Letters to our governor, legislators and government employees on state issues
- Letters to Editors to gain press coverage for candidates or issues
VOTE FORWARD LETTERS
We work with Vote Forward writing letters that are stockpiled, to be mailed to voters at set dates. Some actions are targeted to GOTV (Get Out The Vote) on Election Day. Other Vote Forward campaigns may include GOTV for primaries, registering voters, ballot chasing, etc.
Vote Forward letter writing is easy. You download letters, briefly personalize them and put them in a stamped envelope that you provide.
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
We encourage ReSisters to write personal messages to the press. With some specific issues, we will provide sample letters as thought starters.
